Ron LaBeau’s journey has been anything but ordinary. For 14 years, he ran a printing press—hands-on, precise, and always chasing perfection in the craft. After that, he spent over 20 years in the corporate world, sharpening his business skills and learning what it takes to succeed in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

But in 2021, Ron decided it was time for something different—something that combined creativity, craftsmanship, and a little entrepreneurial adventure. That’s when *Show Me Custom Gifts* was born.

Ron has always had a love for woodworking and tinkering with Photoshop, but when it came to laser engraving, he had absolutely zero experience. That didn’t stop him. In true “go for it” fashion, he convinced his wife they should invest in a commercial laser engraving machine. The learning curve was steep, but the results—and the smiles from customers—were worth every moment.
